In the heart of vineyard hills

People walking down a heart-shaped road winding through golden autumn vineyards, which cascade down a hillside. Farmhouses and forested mountains under a cloudy sky making up the background.

Those people are participants of an annual event called Vinotek (lit. Wine Run). It starts and ends in castle Svečina, near Maribor, Slovenia.

It sports two tracks - an easier short one and a longer, more demanding one. Both leading through scenic vineyards with stops at local wineries, where participants can refresh themselves with locally produced wine (or other beverages).

The red car beside the road belongs to the local fire brigade, who plays an important role in organization of the event as well as providing safe and secure environment for the participants.
